Jorge Galindo

Dr. Jorge Galindo - Licensed Marriage, Family, and Child Therapist

Based in Irvine, California, Dr. Jorge Galindo is a licensed marriage, family, and child therapist. A member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, Dr. Jorge Galindo maintains a private clinical and forensic therapy practice that he shares with his wife Miriam Galindo, Psy.D. They provide court-referred assessments in child-custody cases and clinical services for adults, adolescents, and families.

Dr. Jorge Galindo established his practice after clinical roles in Orange County. He served as director of the Olive Crest Residential Centers in Santa Ana, providing individual, group, and family therapy. He also worked at Western Youth Services.

Earlier, Dr. Galindo was an administrative clinician with Health and Human Services Group, supporting a national employee-assistance program for federal law enforcement personnel in several agencies, including the Border Patrol and the Immigration and Naturalization Service. His responsibilities included clinical intakes and case management, and he is certified in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing. He also provided psychoeducation training for federal officers.

Dr. Galindo received a master’s degree from the Trinity College of Graduate Studies and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Vanguard University. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies at the California School of Professional Psychology (Alliant International University).

He is certified in psychoanalytic therapy and is also a certified Domestic Violence Provider for Orange County. In addition, Dr. Galindo serves as a sworn reserve deputy sheriff with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
